With the NFL season on its way and the NBA lockout still in effect, we thought it would be a good time to hit you in the head with the funniest tweets from your favorite (or hated) ball players and analysts every week. Our intentions aren't to dry snitch, but to keep sports fans in the loop with their heroes. Some of these tweets are pauseworthy, some hilarous, and some downright stupid like the homie Skip Bayless saying "Uggla" and "DiMaggio" in the same sentence. We love Skip Bayless and his hateful ways, but this statement is downright asinine. Comparing Dan Uggla's 33-game hitting streak to Joe D's untouchable 56-game hit streak is blaphemous 'round these parts. Sure Uggla's batting average climbed from .173 to an astonishing .228, but like the numbers say, he still sucks.

Darnell is one the most entertaining athletes on twitter, but this has to be one of his most outlandish statements. This dude just watched his first Bruce Lee movie the other day. How can a man come back from that? And they're related too? The plot thickens.

These people haven't any shame. Chris tweeted this pick going thru German TSA agents. And in a subsequent tweet, he said it reminded him of Reggie Evans grabbing his balls in the playoffs. SMH.
