The late 80s is known for its bad fashion, horrible music, and a resurgence in what would become one of the most iconic muscle cars. The third generation Mustang was one of the biggest years for Ford as their beloved pony car—nicknamed after its long hood and short back end that remains untouched—became a favorite for its inexpensive horsepower and easy modifications. At one time, this great American hero cranked out 250hp for under $8k and 'til this day is a favorite for anyone looking for power, performance and a lot of bang for your buck. After all, it is the American way.
