Normally, if it took you nearly four hours to get from the West Village to the Brooklyn Bridge, you'd be pissed. But if you made your way from the West Side to the East Side by paddling up the Hudson River, across the Harlem River and down the East River, you'd be exhilirated (and probably a little exhausted). That's exactly how more than 100 riders got across town last Friday in the O'Neill SEA Paddle NYC race.
Rob Rojas won the race, in a speedy 3 hours and 56 minutes; Annabel Anderson placed second in 4 hours and 13 minutes. Proceeds from the race benefit autism charities and the Surfer's Environmental Alliance. See more images from the amazing race above.
