Because that is exactly what Sogelau Tuvalu of American Samoa thought when he recently competed in the IAAF World Championships.
After the race, Tuvalu proclaimed that "I believed in myself...it was a dream come true." Hey that's great and all, but when you post a time of 15.66 seconds–the second slowest in the history of the World Championship games–that dream looked more like a nightmare to us. [via Off The Bench]
