At the moment, Cam Newton has no tattoos or piercings. Carolina Panthers owner Jerry Richardson would like for that to remain the case. During a guest appearance on PBS's Charlie Rose, the Panthers owner revealed some of the conversation that occurred between himself and Newton.

Richardson, who said that Newton “was dressed perfectly” for their meeting, was blunt. “I said, ‘Do you have any tattoos?’” Richardson told Rose. “He said, ‘No, sir. I don’t have any.’ I said, ‘Do you have any piercings?’ He said, ‘No, sir. I don’t have any.’ I said, ‘We want to keep it that way. We want to keep no tattoos, no piercings, and I think you’ve got a very nice haircut.” Rose responded saying, “You sound like a Lombardi.” Richardson countered, “No, I just sound reasonable to me.”

Now whether Richardson is talking from his own personal point-of-view or looking at Newton's marketability, people will probably be a little tight over that decision. While some may feel that the Panthers owner is on some patronizing bullshit, we can all be in agreement that Newton's father could probably work out a deal where the tattoo parlor pays a little money on the side for some prime real estate on Cam's arm. #justsayin [via Shutdown Corner]
