All jokes aside—including the one the commentator tried to throw at MLS goalkeeper Jimmy Nielsenafter calling this incident "absolutely ridiculous"—this was pretty fuckin' insane. Nielsen, a keeper for the Sporting Kansas City MLS club, was going to fetch himself a drink of water during a game the other night when a fan decided to throw a bobblehead out onto the field. And unfortunately, it hit him directly under his left eye and caused a large cut that would require stitches later. Ouuuuuch! [via The Big Lead]
