It would be powered by the Genesis-R's Tau 5.0 litre V8 which surrently makes 429 horses, but could potentially be tuned up for a bit more. Both front and mid-engined designes are reputedly being considered, and rear-wheel drive would be a definite. It would theoretically be between $80,000 and $100,000, but don't get too excited yet. Hyundai's CEO John Krafcik has said that these rumors are nothing more than "scurrilous nonsense," despite the fact that this kind of halo-car sounds just like his MO.
