There might not be an NBA season later this year. But don't tell that to Kobe Bryant who is allegedly trying everything to provide some relief to his arthritic right knee that's required three surgeries since 2003 and continues to bother him. Earlier this week, KB24 reportedly took a trip out to Germany (any chance he bumped into Dirk in the airport!?) to undergo a relatively unusual surgery on his knee called platelet-rich plasma therapy that's either a really effective treatment for knee problems or a really expensive scam that doesn't actually work—depending on who you ask.

Regardless, it's good to see that someone on the Lakers is working on changing something other than his name. [via FanNation]
