The Goodwood officials have decided it was too dangerous, due to a lack of testing, to allow Nissan to race a Leaf backwards up the hill. The crazies at Nissan decided this would be a good idea when they realized that the Leaf can do 90mph in reverse, due to the lack of conventional gearing. While they may have to wait a year to race Goodwood backwards, at least they did get to do a run on two wheels with a Juke.
