Palmer held a seven-stroke lead going into the back nine, then a slew of bad shots by Palmer and a charge by Bill Casper forced a playoff. Palmer regained the lead in the playoff, but proceeded to lose that and the championship. Despite losing this one, The King still finished his career with seven majors under his belt and has one of the best drinks named after him. That's way more than can be said for that other dude who calls himself "King."
