GM has designed a new 3.6l V6 for use in the 2012 Lacrosse that will generate 303 horsepower, up 23 horses from the outgoing model. By significantly reducing the weight of the engine they've managed to squeeze that extra power out of the engine without any loss in fuel economy. This is precisely the kind of engineering we love here at Complex—more power without any environmental guilt.
