To his credit, Chad Ochocinco has kept his name in the news this NFL offseason—even as the league fights through a lockout and a possible cancellation of their 2011 season. He's done it by trying out for an MLS team, asking for a cage match against Bengals coach Marvin Lewis, and riding a bull. But at least one person isn't amused by Ocho's recent hijinx: The guy who signs his paychecks.
"He's going to do the things he does," Bengals owner Mike Brown said recently. "Next, maybe he'll be a snake wrangler and we'll watch to see if he gets bit. He's always up to some stunt. They amuse me in a way. They concern me because, let's face it, we want a football player. We aren't hiring a bull rider, a dancer, a soccer player. We want a football player...And that should be the focus, not on other things." Cool. But, hold up: Shouldn't Brown's focus be on ending the lockout and not dissing players for not being focused on a sport that might not even exist next fall!? Yeah, we think so... [via Shutdown Corner]
