It's been more than a decade since Bulls fans heard Michael Jordan get the introduction he got during Surprise Oprah! A Farewell Spectacular at the United Center in Chicago on Monday night at the taping of Oprah's last show ever. Sure, he's been back in the building a few times now to celebrate his contributions to the team in the past, but he never received an intro like this.
Annnnnnd nooooowwww... the PA announcer said as the Bulls theme music played and MJ took the stage. Nostalgia ultra, Bulls fans!? Later, MJ praised O for doing Chi-Town proud. "We came into Chicago at the same time," he said. "You've done wonderfully. I know you've been a fan of basketball. I've been a fan of yours." Ah, just like good old days.
