Joakim Noah is Really Sorry For Using A Gay Slur

This interesting back-and-forth conversation with a gay sportswriter proves it.

Much like Kobe Bryant did a month ago when he found himself in the same situation, Joakim Noah issued a statement immediately after the Bulls/Heat game Sunday night to say he was sorry for calling a Heat fan a "f*ggot" in the middle of a heated exchanged during the game. Unlike Kobe, he sounds like he really, truly means it—and not just because David Stern fined him 50 stacks for it. "I'm pissed off at myself because that's not who I am," he told ESPN's Kevin Arnovitz yesterday, an openly gay sportswriter.

It was an interesting exchange between the two to say the least. [via True Hoop]
