When we think about a Lamborghini, a practical car is not what comes to mind.  Yet, the company’s CEO, Stephan Winkelmann, has confirmed they're expanding the company’s model range with an “everyday” vehicle.  “We want to have a car which is able to be used on a daily basis.”

So what possessed the new direction for the Italian automaker?  Sales are down.  From 2007 to 2009, sales have gone from 2,580 to 1,417.  A major factor comes from the financial downfalls that have hit the U.S. economy as well as overseas.  There are no details on the new model as of yet, but it will be a sad, sad day if we ever see a Lambo minivan.
