As Sportsgrid points out, the story you're about to hear sounds like something straight out of Chapelle's Show. Back in 2006, Carlos Boozer rented out a mansion he owned in L.A. to Prince—who got pretty comfortable with the idea of basically turning it into his place. "Supposedly, Prince changed the front gate to the Prince sign," Boozer's former Duke teammate Jay Williams told ESPN Radio recently. "He changed the master bedroom to a hair salon. He changed the streaming blue waters that led to the front door to purple water. He knocked out walls. He changed the molding on top of the ceiling. Booz was livid. Booz was like, 'I was getting ready to go over there and beat this little man down.'"

Eventually, Boozer settled on trying to sue him instead. Until, of course, the Purple One threw a pile of cash at Booz to fix the problem. Recalls Williams: "Dude was just like, 'Here, Boozer, here is a little check for about a million. It'll take care of everything, get it back the way you want it.' And Booz was like, 'This little man is cool as hell.'" Danger averted! [via Sportsgrid]
