DATE & OPPONENT: 3/19/1996 vs. Detroit Pistons
STATS: 20 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists
COMPLEX SAYS: In the only triple-double of his career, Bowie became infamous when he went to great lengths to ensure the last rebound and assist needed for the feat. With only four seconds left in Orlando's 113-91 blowout of the Pistons, Bowie grabbed the rebound then immediately called timeout. He then drew up a play for himself to get the needed assist. The classless act disgusted both Magic coach Brian Hill and Pistons coach Doug Collins, who told his players to stand beneath the Magic's basket so that Bowie could complete the triple-double. Collins, oh you mad cuz he's stylin' on you?

DATE & OPPONENT: 3/16/2003 vs. Utah Jazz
STATS: 28 points, 12 assists, nine rebounds
COMPLEX SAYS: The video quality is shitty, but yes, that is Ricky Davis purposely missing his own team's basket in order to get the rebound and complete the triple-double. The board was not counted and he was later fined by the Cavs for his selfish unsportsmanlike conduct. Whether it's grainy or in HD quality, bitchassness is always easily recognizable.

DATE & OPPONENT: 4/12/2004 vs. New Jersey Nets
STATS: 22 points, 11 assists, nine rebounds
COMPLEX SAYS: No video for this triple-double attempt, but we thought this Bob Sura compilation video (pause-worthy soundtrack included) would suffice. Anyway, with only seconds left in a 127-107 Hawks' victory, Sura intentionally missed a layup and scooped up his own board to complete the triple-double. A day later, the NBA took away Sura's bogus triple-double. The league said the layup was not a true field goal attempt, so the rebound afterward would not count. "It was a kind of a reaction thing," said Sura when asked about the intentional miss. Right. FOH.

DATE & OPPONENT: 4/4/2010 vs. New Jersey Nets
STATS: 20 points, 13 assists, nine rebounds
COMPLEX SAYS:  Trying to snatch rebounds from teammates? Begging opponents at the free throw line for rebounds? Even attempting to miss a shot and grab his own board with four seconds left in the game?! No act of desperation was too low for Blatche. Unfortunately dude never got that elusive board. #notwinning

STATS: 11 points, 12 rebounds, 12 blocks
COMPLEX SAYS:  Despite shooting 5-14 in a near 20 point loss, nothing could get in the way of JaVale McGee celebrating the triple-double he and his teammates worked so hard for. This EPIC FAIL was truly a team effort with everyone including the coach (running plays for homie, really?) getting in on the action. McGee, there's no need to son yourself, Dr. J takes
