Since being acquired by India's Tata Motors, Jaguar has been up to big things. Adding to the rumor that the British brand has a "3-series fighter" in the works, comes news that the line-up could be expanded even further; this time with a 2-door version of its classy XJ.
Sources at Automobile magazine, have a Jaguar contact stating that the XJ coupe will sport a pillarless greenhouse design, and glass roof—good news since not everybody is sold on the car's polarizing back glass. Adrian Hallmark, brand manager for Jaguar Europe, has gone on the record to say the two-door XJ will be "much more dynamic and emotional than a Mercedes CL."
Add to this the wild C-X75 concept, the forthcoming Range Rover Evoque and other buzzworthy news, you might want to keep a close watch - the British are coming!
