The much anticipated Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low “Reverse Mocha” collaboration released late last night via a raffle exclusively on the Houston rapper’s online store and, as expected with a collab of this magnitude, both Travis Scott and sneaker fans alike flocked to the website for a chance at securing the shoe.
Today, a source close to the artist confirmed to Complex that 2.4 million entries were submitted for the “Reverse Mocha” Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Lows during the 30 minutes that the raffle was open for on Monday. While the number of entries is high at face value, it isn’t unusual for Cactus Jack sneaker projects to draw numbers like this. His Nike Air Trainer 1 collab reportedly netted over 1 million entries when it released in May.
Prior to the raffle’s opening, Travis Scott shared the full video campaign for his new Jordan 1 collab that features Euphoria actor Javon Walton along with MLB greats Reggie Jackson and Lance McCullers. For fans who struck out on the shoe on the Cactus Jack website yesterday, Jordan Brand confirmed this morning that the “Reverse Mocha” Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low will officially release in full-family sizing on Thursday, July 21 via SNKRS and at select Jordan Brand retailers.
