It's not that often that a four-year college player from the Ohio Valley Conference, who was picked late in the first round, contends for NBA Rookie of the Year.

But based on Kenneth Faried's game during those four years at Morehead State, where he set the modern-era NCAA career rebounding record (1,673 rebounds), it shouldn't have come as any surprise that his productivity translated so well to the NBA floor.

In honor of yesterday's unveiling of the Nuggets' new adidas REV30 alternate jerseys, here's a closer look at his previous alternate version worn last season during his rookie year.

In contrast to the retro-inspired Denver Skyline version, the navy alternates featured the same trim design as their standard uniforms, with a stylized "Nuggets" font across the chest and the team's secondary trim color for the jersey's body.

Do you prefer the navy version of last year's Nuggets alternate jerseys, or are you more excited for this upcoming year's Skyline edition?
