This year marks the 75th anniversary of Jackie Robinson’s major league debut at Ebbets Field on April 15, 1947, and Nike is marking the occasion with a special makeup of the ever-popular Dunk.

Official product images of the “Jackie Robinson” Dunk Low have emerged courtesy of House of Heat. The sneaker dons a Brooklyn Dodgers-inspired color scheme with a sail leather base upper and is paired with Dodger blue overlay panels decorated with an all-over print of Robinson’s famous quote, “I’m not concerned with your liking or disliking me…all I ask is that you respect me as a human being.” Additional details include a special 75th-anniversary patch on the tongue commemorating Robinson’s breaking baseball’s color barrier in ‘47, while his “42” jersey number is stamped on the heel counter.

As of now, release details for this “Jackie Robinson” Dunk Low haven’t been announced by Nike, but expect to learn more about the release when we get closer to Jackie Robinson Day next month on April 15.

UPDATE (07/11): After images of the shoe initially surfaced in March, Nike has officially confirmed that the “Jackie Robinson” Dunk Lows are releasing on July 19 via SNKRS and at select retailers for $130.
