As we've seen through the years, not every sample makes it all the way from its first round stage to a retail floor near you.
Like this heather bodied and black denim sample of Derrick Rose's newest signature shoe, the adiZero Rose 2.5. Gone is the shoe's weight-saving Sprint Web mesh panneling and lightweight synthetic toe, opting for more casual fabrics in grey and black tones accented by hits of "High Energy" orange.
Apart of what was naturally dubbed the "Hardwood Heather Pack," neither this lifestyle twist on the Rose 2.5 or the complementary adiPower Howard 2 will be releasing in the near future.
But they're still fun to look at.
