For this week's Classic Commercial we give props to Coney Island's finest and the new champion of the Chinese Basketball Association, Stephon Marbury. Marbury scored 41 points and totalled 7 assists for the Beijing Ducks in the deciding game of the championship series on March 30th, giving the Ducks their franchise's first title.
Before his own Starbury brand sneakers, the head tattoo, and his UStream debacle, Marbury was one of the top point guards in the NBA while wearing AND1 sneakers. In this commercial for AND1 and Foot Locker we see him wearing The Rise, one of AND1's most succesful shoes, as he walks through a news room and past interviewers and camera flashes to declare "I BALL" before hitting the gym and hooping.
