Rick Owens x Adidas On A Budget

By this point we can all agree that Rick Owens pieces, much like the designer himself, have many distinct details that make them stand out from the crowd: drapiness, drop-crotches and exaggerated shapes, just to name a few. On the footwear, aside from occasionally looking like hooves, the tiny ridged shark tooth soles are fairly recognized. So, when I first saw these Remastered ZX7000s, I initially thought they were a RO collab that were mislabeled or something. Turns out they're just regular ass Adidas joints that happen to look pretty fucking good. They come with the aforementioned sharky soles, some upgraded leather, nice pigskin suede panels and an interesting shape that's a little funky in a Diet Rick sorta way. That brown leather on the instep isn't black, but is a badge of honor that shows these aren't your typical Adidas kicks, which you might not even realize anyway due to the clear lack of triple stripe branding. Lie to yourself that Rick ghost-designed these and pull the trigger.
