Here's something we are excited about. Sports memorabilia company Panini America is including inserts of game-worn sneakers in their upcoming Immaculate Basketball trading card set.
That's right, the signature sneakers that we fawn over worn by their actual namesakes will be included as part of Panini's "Sole of the Game" and "Sneek Peek" series. With old school artifacts like Shaquille O'Neal's Reebok Pumps and present day entries like LeBron and KD's Nikes, the cards are a vital part of not just basketball but sneaker history, as well. The cards will feature the brand logos, size tags, soles, player names and tongue pieces of your favorite players' Nikes, addias, Reeboks, Filas, Converses, Under Armours and more.
The Immacualte Basketball collection will drop in early September. To hold you over until then, look through the gallery above at some of the soles that will be used for the project and see if you recognize any of the shoes that they belong to.
