Back in April, sneaker collector Soley Ghost made headlines for calling out Jim Jones' fake "Ray Allen" Air Jordan XIs, and now he's in the spotlight again thanks to another rare player-exclusive.

Speaking with Sneaker Watch, Soley Ghost broke down the stories behind some of his most prized pairs. One of them, the "Melo" Air Jordan V P.E., is particularly rare, with just two known pairs in existence, according to Soley. In fact, they're so rare that he's received offers as high as $30,000 but managed to resist the temptation.

"I like the money, but I'd rather have the shoe more," Soley said. "Kids these days, they want to say 'Oh, I own this shoe.' But it's not about 'I own this shoe.' It's more about 'I like the shoe, I want to wear it, and it has a meaning to me.' That's the difference between having a passion for sneakers and then just [being] out here trying to impress other people."

You hear that, kids? Take it from one of the biggest collectors : Follow your heart and stop focusing your attention on flexing for others.
