Since its April debut, Nike's new Polo shirt has quietly become one of the brand's more sought after pieces of apparel with a handful of styles finding their way onto resell sites like StockX. To kick off the month of August, Nike will keep momentum around the shirt going by dropping three new limited-edition tie dye colors.
A collaboration between Nike Golf and Nike SB, the three-item range includes color combinations inspired by late-Nike runner Steve Prefontaine, '90s tennis, as well as a third option with blends of pastel colors.
Prefontaine's colorway is said to be inspired by the runner's rebellious personality and includes a patch of his likeness on the left upper in place of the Polo's usual logo.
The loud and aggressive style Nike tennis was known for in the '90s is honored on this second look, which is color blocked in a windbreaker-inspired pattern.
Rounding out the collection is a pastel offering in shades of blue, pink, and purple.
Each Polo in the Nike SB x Golf collection will retail for $85 and are unique, one-of-one hand-dyed designs. The collection launches this Friday, Aug. 2.
