Volt Returns For Nike's Newest Running Sneaker

Nike is looking to keep runners protected this fall/winter with a new Shield Collection of running sneakers that includes weather-resistant colorways of the Nike LunarEpic Flyknit Shield.

Adding to the women's colorway that we previewed last week, Nike is releasing a men's colorway of the sock-like running sneaker that features a legendary Nike Running hue, volt. The upper is done in mix of volt, dark grey, and metallic red bronze weather-resistant TPU yarn sitting on a black-speckled wolf grey Lunarlon sole. Adding to the sneaker's weather-treated approach, the outsole is also upgraded from the non-Shield version and features a tread that was tested in the Colorado Rockies.

Release date for this sneaker is Nov. 3 at a retail price of $200 at select retailers including Nike.com.
