Wale took to Instagram today to express that he misses the way the sneaker game used to be. Back before week long line-ups and NDC bots, it was a totally different scene. That was the scene that Wale came up in, and it’s the scene he misses.
Along with posting the reminiscent, positive look back, he showed off two pairs of Simpsons Nike SB Dunks, the Homers and the Marges (maybe he’s excited about the Simpsons x Family Guy crossover that’s coming), which is some legit heat regardless of which sneaker era you started in.
Wale is right, things have changed over the years, and will continue to change, that's the nature of the industry.
