Kanye West Gives Away Yeezys to Kids at Charity Event in Uganda

While visiting Uganda, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian West paid a visit to the town of Masulita to give local kids free pairs of Adidas Yeezys.

Kanye West might very well be one of the most unpredictable people on the planet. His past few weeks have included announcing a fake album release date, dressing up like a bottle of Perrier to perform on Saturday Night Live, and rocking a MAGA hat while meeting with President Donald Trump in the Oval Office. These things didn't exactly endear him to the majority of his fans, but his latest actions are commendable. While over in Uganda reportedly recording his Yandhi project, West decided to give back to the local youth.

According to TMZ, Ye and his wife, Kim Kardashian West, surprised a group of kids with free pairs of the "Triple White" Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2. The couple reportedly flew to the charity event in Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni's private helicopter.

In a video obtained by the celebrity gossip site TMZ, kids from the town of Masulita, Uganda, can be seen surrounding West and cheering as bags of the popular sneakers are being unloaded. Later in the clip, the children can already be seen dancing and celebrating in their brand new shoes in a heartwarming scene.

Earlier in the week, West met with President Museveni, who was also reportedly given a free pair of Yeezys. The meeting was described as "fruitful" by Museveni, and apparently centered around increasing tourism to the East African country.

As for Yandhi, it is expected to release on Black Friday (probably).
