Through his exceptional talent and accomplishments on the basketball court, including a gold-medal performance at the recent London Olympics, Kobe Bryant has propelled himself into the status of a global icon. And there’s no better example of that than China.
The folks in China love Kobe Bean Bryant, plain and simple. The 16-time NBA All-Star has sold the most jerseys in China for the six consecutive years, including the 2011-12 season. Bryant hit the streets of Wuhan with a pair of the Asian-exclusive Nike Zoom Dream Season IV basketball sneakers in hand to showcase his latest footwear. After a brief media session to promote his signature edition Nike Kobe VII System Supreme kicks, Kobe took to the court for a basketball clinic with some of the best young local ballers. Each player walked away with tips on how to improve their game, along with a pair of the Dream Season IVs.
