Back in late November, rumors started circulating about Rihanna leaving adidas to sign on with Puma. Apparently they were more then just rumors, as it has since been confirmed that Rihanna has just been named creative director of Puma's women's line.

The 7-time Grammy winner now hops on the fashion scene as part of a multi-year deal with Puma in which Rihanna “will work with Puma to design and customize classic Puma styles as well as create new styles to add to the Puma product portfolio,” the brand said on Tuesday. Rihanna's portfolio will include a line of apparel as well as shoes, and will act as the company’s global brand ambassador. Riri joins Jamaican sprinter Usian Bolt, and soccer star Mario Balotelli as global ambassadors, and is expected to star in Puma's ad campaigns sometime in fall 2015.

Rihanna headed to Germany for her first creative session with the Puma design team, and shared a couple photos on her Instagram. We see Riri in the back of a car, rocking white leather shoes with a thick black outsole accompanied by a #puma and #germany. Could these be the first collaboration between Riri and Puma? Check out the photos below, and let us know what you think of this powerhouse partnership.
