Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is using the next release of his current Under Armour Project Rock sneaker to celebrate a few of the most important people in his life: his three daughters.
Shown here is the “Girl Dad” UA Project Rock 5, which hits retail starting today. The sneaker itself is equipped with a engineered mesh upper that’s paired with a molded TPU strap connecting the midfoot to the heel. Cushioning the underfoot is Under Armour’s HOVR cushioning tech for impact reduction. According to the brand, the made-up word “Tijasi” is stamped on the footbed, which pulls the first two letters of his three daughters’ first names: Tiana, Jasmine, and Simone.
Readers will be able to cop this “Girl Dad” Under Armour Project 5 starting today at UA.com and at Under Armour stores. The shoe retails for $150.
