As expected, more inline colorways of the Nike Air Max 1 ‘86 “Big Bubble” are hitting retail soon. In addition to the already leaked “Smokey Mauve” makeup is this new navy-based pair dropping this year.

Shown here is the “Light Navy Blue” Air Max 1 ‘86 Big Bubble courtesy of @Am1ent on Instagram. The newest pair dons a traditional white and grey mesh and nubuck upper, but is offset by navy accents on the nubuck mudguard and Swoosh logo. The shoe’s size is stamped by the interior of the ankle collar, while the larger “Air” cushioning setup appears below.

As initially reported on Complex Sneakers, the Air Max 1 ’86 “Big Bubble” releases are expected to extend beyond 2023 as the original white/blue colorway is rumored to return in Spring 2024.

At the time of writing, release details for the “Light Navy Blue” Air Max 1 ‘86 Big Bubble have yet to be announced, but we’ll keep you updated if anything changes.

UPDATE (04/03): Much like the “Smokey Mauve” colorway, only 1,986 pairs of the “Light Navy Blue” Air Max 1 ‘86 were given to Black Market Flea vendors as part of this year’s Air Max Day celebrations. At the time of writing, Nike has yet to confirm if a standard version of the shoe will be releasing to the public.
