You Can Finally Get Adidas' Recycled Plastic Boost Shoe
For free, no less.
Remember the Parley x Adidas sneaker revealed in 2015 that's been in limbo ever since? The environmentally conscious footwear, which sources recycled plastic pulled from the ocean, is finally available via an Instagram giveaway from adidas.
From tomorrow, June 8, until the end of July, people across the globe can enter the giveaway for a chance to win one of 50 available pairs. Instagram users are asked to create a video showing how they'll rid their life of single-use plastic items and support Parley’s Ocean Plastic Program.
The beginning of the contest coincides with World Oceans Day 2016 on Wednesday.
Adidas says that later in 2016, one of the brand's top sneaker franchises will use recycled ocean plastic in the first retail footwear offering from the Parley x adidas partnership.
