Following the Nike Kobe X "All-Star," the next up colorway for Bryant's tenth signature sneaker will be the Kobe X "Blackout" shown here.
Ironically the shoe isn't fully blacked out, and instead works with a purple base lined up with the standard Lakers colors. “When I’m really feeling it…. I work out until I black out,” Bryant is quoted as saying in Nike's press release. This insight drove Nike Basketball to create this pair, which features the same material set as the 5AM Flight debut version. Nike mentions that there are only two more colorways involved in "this season" of Kobe 10s, all of which will be unveiled in the coming weeks.
The Nike Kobe X "Blackout" release date is Feb. 21, 2015.
