The Air More Uptempo has been a prolific silhouette in 2017, with Nike taking liberties on the shoe and even switching around its iconic lettering. Months ago, leaked images depicted a colorway in the works with navy uppers and gum bottoms, although new evidence suggests that pair isn't coming out.
The shoe most recently surfaced on the Instagram account @oregonsole, which frequently posts unreleased pairs and samples. In the comments below the picture, the user behind the account says that the shoe was dropped from the line and won't arrive at retail.
That notion is a bit strange considering Foot Locker had images of the sneaker loaded on its site at one point, but the rumored June release date has long since passed, which corroborates the idea that it won't be releasing.
