Top high school basketball prospect Nick Richards announced on Thursday that he'll be joining the Kentucky Wildcats squad in 2017, NJ.com reports. Richards brought Kentucky gear with him for the announcement that included a pair of Jordans with Kentucky logos and colors.
The pair isn't an official Kentucky blue Air Jordan, but rather a custom take on the Air Jordan 10 "Charlotte" done up with Wildcats graphics.
Richards made an official visit to Kentucky on Sep. 30 and an unofficial one on Oct. 14.
One has to assume that Richards was inspired in part by Arizona's Stanley Johnson, who announced his commitment in 2013 with custom Air Jordan 3s.
