The various Cristiano Ronaldo soccer boots by Nike aren't the only pieces of footwear bearing the name of the international soccer star.
Apparently he's got his own recently launched footwear line called CR7, something that Nike isn't too happy about for obvious reasons. According to Sport, the Oregon-based sportswear giant told Ronaldo it would terminate his contract unless he withdrew from his CR7 footwear line. While the webstore still exists, Ronaldo apparently agreed, keeping his contract and the reported €9 million a year that he makes from Nike.
CR7 Footwear doesn't have much overlap with Ronaldo's Nike sneakers. The models are more lifestyle leaning, and clearly aren't intended for soccer purposes like his Swoosh shoes.
