Chris Webber's advice to the young Lakers sharing the locker room with Kobe Bryant during the final days of his NBA career? Steal Kobe's sneakers.
In the above clip from NBA TV, Webber says he did just that when he played with Allen Iverson on the 76ers back in 2007.
“I was sitting in the locker room and I’m like, ‘That’s my boy Allen Iverson. He’s one of the greatest players ever. I’m about to take everything out of his locker,’” Webber said. “I took everything out of his locker. I have about 20 pairs of shoes. I got his jersey, practice jersey, shorts, socks; I took the dirty clothes bag, no lie!"
He went on to say that he's even got the last pair of sneakers Iverson wore while playing in Philadelphia.
