Every once in a while, a video hits sneaker social media featuring an inside look at the fake factories where bogus pairs are produced, like the above one from @fake_education. While the reaction of most might be to shake their heads or avert their eyes, the team at Campless decided to take a closer look and figure out just how much the shoes in the video could fetch on the resell market.

They counted 364 pairs in the video, the group made up of coveted stuff like the Fragment x Air Jordan 1 and "Space Jam" Jordan 11s. From there they used eBay sales data to figure out how much all the pairs could be worth, multiplying each by the highest price they went for on eBay in the past year.

It turns out the quick video has a potential $278,000 worth of fake sneakers in it.

This clip would be a good one to keep in mind next time you're shopping online for any of these retros and see a price that's too good to be true.
