Last night, the USA Men's Basketball Team continued their exhibition tour in preparation for the 2014 FIBA World Cup. On the schedule, the Dominican Republic at the world famous Madison Square Garden.
With Derrick Rose resting, Kyrie Irving stepped into the starting point guard role and led the way for a dominant American victory. He hit all five of his shots, tallying 12 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds in 16 minutes of action. Rudy Gay and DeMar DeRozan each scored 13 to lead for Team USA.
The home team dominated from the tip, winning their latest warm-up 105-62.
