There is no Blake Griffin signature shoe on the horizon (yet!), but how fitting is it that Nike has made him the face of the Zoom Hyperdunk 2011? The term "Hyperdunk" sounds exactly what he did to victim after victim last season (I see you, Mozgov), racking up 214 highlight reel dunks on the year. During the NBA's All-Star Weekend, Blake was selected as the first rookie since Yao Ming in 2003 to play in the actual All-Star Game, and used the stage to debut the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 in a Player Exclusive colorway. With the release of the Hyperdunk 2011 around the corner, Nike has officially unveiled the new model and included these shots of Blake wearing the shoe with their press materials.
The Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 debuts August 5 in Greater China and August 12 in North America.
