During the NBA's All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles, PEAK and JaVale McGee received plenty of much-needed and deserved TV air time when he wore five different PEAK sneaker colorways during the 2011 NBA Dunk Contest. The lineup included styles based on his favorite superhero (Wolverine, the growing relationship between the United States and China and a shout out to his home of Flint, Michigan. Continuing to lace JaVale up with sneakers that represent his background, PEAK has also issued him an exclusive pair in the colors of his alma mater, the University of Nevada.
The shoe is blue-based and features black trim with white accents throughout. White also appears on the inner liner and outsole, as well as the Nevada school logo on the heel. Check out a photo posted by JaVale on Twitter below.
