After putting their brand on the map with the NBA-banned Concept 1, Athletic Propulsion Labs has officially launched their follow-up model, the Concours. The familiar silhouette is classed up with a touch of luxury style, but still packs the performance that made APL an intriguing brand in the first place.
The launch colorway of the Concours features a quilted black upper, constructed with premium leather and suede. White intervenes at branding points and the midsole, which is finished off with a translucent rubber outsole. Each pair comes with an APL Laces Kit, which consists of seven different lace colors, each adding a different touch to the sleek black and white look.
Like the Concept 1, the Concours employ Load 'N Launch Technology that has the potential to increase verticals by up to 3.5 inches. Load 'N Launch and the TPU shank are highlighted on the outsole in APL's signature fluorescent green.
