If you were to sit down and roll off the Top 5 or so most recognizable sneaker models in existence, adidas Originals' Superstar would certainly be amongst those you'd consider. This summer, adidas revamps the iconic silhouette with a lightweight build called the adidas Originals Superstar Lite.
Featuring a nylon-based upper with leather detailing, the Superstar Lite sheds nearly 40% off the weight of the original by incorporating an EVA foam midsole as opposed to the standard rubber cupsole. The result is a shoe that tips the scale at just about 11 ounces.
Three white-based colorways of the Superstar Lite are currently available, accented by Red, Navy and Fairway Green. Priced at $70, you can pick up a pair today exclusively at Eastbay and Foot Locker.
