Following last week's sneak peak, adidas Basketball serves up Episode 1 of "The Return of D Rose." The video documentary series was created for Derrick Rose's fans worldwide to support and stay connected with him as he works toward his return to the court.
In Episode 1, titled "Belief," Rose shares his innermost thoughts leading up to last season's playoffs, through the injury and beginning of recovery. Derrick recalls lying in the MRI machine, bringing out the ball for the next game in front of his hometown fans, awaiting surgery and accepting the challenge of the return. His words are accompanied by exclusive footage of the days and weeks following his injury and surgery, as well as his first recovery workouts. "Belief" is inspired by Derrick's drive to return to the court and personal attitude to achieve his ultimate goal - "to be great."
