Sometimes moving forward requires taking a step back. Such is the case with footwear brand PONY, who is currently exploring their 40-year old sport heritage to reintroduce the world to the classic shoes that made them a premier brand in the 70s and 80s. Doing so gives fans of the shoes, both new and old, the opportunity to own them once again in their original form.
Continuing our look at the PONY Archive Collection, we bring to you the Original Top Star, a vintage style low-cut shoe with basketball roots that trace all the way back to 1982. The simple two-toned shoe features a premium leather constructed upper finished with a durable rubber sole. The brand's chevron logo accents the shoe in a contrasting color near the heel, with a perforated variation spotted on the medial side panel.
You can learn about and see more of the PONY Archive collection over at the official website and purchase the shoes from retailers like Shop Overload.
