NIKEiD provides us with an opportunity to apply unique designs to our favorite sneakers. Unfortunately, all good things come to an end, and the popular customization platform is no exception. After a few months of being available, models are pulled from the site — most of them for good.
However, that doesn't they can't still be obtained. For many reasons, buyers often post NIKEiD designs for sale on sites like eBay. Some are trying to recoup a little cash because the shoe didn't turn out the way they envisioned, while others purposely design 'hyped' up colorways that they figure will be easy to move at an increased price tag. Either way, the auctions allow us to see popular models in new colorways that never hit general retail.
