This Is What Adidas Players Are Wearing for NBA All-Star Weekend

Adidas is officially ready to showcase what sneakers it has prepared for the players during this year's NBA All-Star festivities taking place in Chicago next week.

With this year marking the 50th anniversary since the original release of the timeless Superstar model, the brand has created a special gold-colored Pro Model 2G with its shell toe and elevated with Bounce cushioning. The model will be worn by Patrick Beverley and Zach LaVine will wear the sneaker during each of their respective events on Saturday while Kyle Lowry, along with first-time All-Stars Brandon Ingram and Trae Young rocking the shoe during Sunday's All-Star Game. The Pro Model 2G Shelltoe 50 releases on Feb. 10 on Adidas.com for $100.

While initially expected to be part of this year's All-Star Weekend festivities, former NBA MVP and Chicago native Derrick Rose has now been ruled out of the events due to the injury. He would have worn his adiZero Rose 1 in one of two colorways seen below including the yellow "All-Star" makeup that released in 2011. Both pairs drop in select Chicago retailers on Feb. 13 followed by a wider release on Feb. 14 at Adidas.com for $140 each.

For James Harden, he has once again linked up with designer Daniel Patrick to collaborate on a special iteration of his current Harden Vol. 4 in a colorway that draws inspiration from the brand's heritage and Harden’s intricate style. The Daniel Patrick x Harden Vol. 4 releases on Feb. 14 at Adidas.com for $140.

Damian Lillard has tapped fellow rapper and endorsee Pusha T on a new iteration of the latest Dame 6 that's inspired by the early 2000s mixtape culture. It releases at Adidas.com starting on Feb. 14 for $140.

Lastly, Donovan Mitchell will be debuting a new black and orange execution of his D.O.N. Issue #1 at this year's All-Star Game on Sunday, which drops on Feb. 28 at Adidas.com for $100.
